Abstract

Abstract: To mention the PEI Institutional Educational Project, with a focus on environmental education, is to mention the strategy for the search of the academy in complementarities and not hierarchies, transversalized and articulated with educational events and environmental social responsibility. It is an indisputable element in the educational process, generator of mechanisms and means to achieve objectives and goals, framed in a pedagogical - formative task, which must be the answer to the wishes, aspirations of all participants and the educational community involved. In its construction, different aspects must be taken into account and multiple reasoning must also be carried out, from community participation, its vision of the environment and the region, it must speak of the recognition of the territory (social cartography and collective mapping) and its people. Also, of empowerment and participatory governance, aware of the needs and priorities in the training of students, passing through the flexibility of their curriculum that is due in relation to a dynamic of discussion with the social and cultural reality of the environment, until the characteristic analysis of each of the actors that intervene in the development of the educational process, in order to finally arrive at a functional structure that indicates an effective route capable of carrying out a social transformation whose axis is the school.
