Caracterización del sector tendero del municipio de Barrancabermeja – Santander

Abstract

Small establishments retail, better known as shops, represent a sector around which different economic and social dynamics of both supply of basic goods to less favored social class people, and the achievement of sources of income for living. In this study a descriptive statistical analysis of small establishments retail sector in Barrancabermeja is made, different sector performance variables such as income, types of products sold, financing, among others are examined. Finally a scenario of opportunities and threat are shown to the guild and solutions for improvement are proposed.
