Propiedades fisicoquímicas del aceite y del biodisel producidos de la Cocos Nucifera en el municipio de Barranacbermeja
Aprovechamiento del aceite de coco
Abstract
Abstract: The products obtained from coconut pulp are diverse, highlighting the vegetable oil of coconut that has physicochemical characteristics suitable for the production of biodiesel, although the pulp is intended for food consumption, it is necessary to study environmental alternatives to fossil fuels. The objective of this study was to analyze and compare some investigations that have been based on the determination of the physicochemical properties of Biodiesel from coconut oil (Cocos nucifera). For this purpose, the following investigations were taken "Production and Characterization of Biodiesel from Organic Coconut Oil", "Development of a proposal for the technification of the process of obtaining coconut oil for the company Amanos Artesanal", "Extraction and characterization of coconut oil by means of supercritical fluids ”, and “Experimental study of the performance of a diesel engine operating with biodiesel diesel blends ”. From the data given in the investigations, an analysis was made of each of the physicochemical parameters such as density, iodine index, saponification index, refractive index, and acidity index, reaching the conclusion that the oil of Coco has high viability in terms of physicochemical characteristics for use in the production of biodiesel. Keywords: Biofuel, supercritical fluid, extraction, production, diesel.
